I'm surprised to see this thread empty the very next day after an eBay coupon. I went with a pre-owned Seiko Shogun SBDC029. I'm hoping it won't be too big for my taste. I'm also worried that I won't wear it enough bc I'm too enamored with my NY0040. Anybody else have something on the way?

Timex Ironman Endure 30 Shock Incoming! I've seen the reference for this one as both T5K195 and T5K1959J. Found a brand new one on eBay for $33 and I just couldn't help myself. Some credit/blame goes to Wolfsatz over in the Ultimate Timex Thread.

That is a good one. I got a used one off of eBay, but the strap was toast. I haven’t found a cheap aftermarket strap that works yet. I should have probably just bought a new one.

I was reading some customer reviews on the Amazon page for this watch and the top review mentions that the strap isn't too durable. If you end up finding a decent aftermarket strap, please post it over in the Timex thread. I'd be interested in seeing it.

So I ordered one of these on Monday: viewtopic.php?p=7892#p7892.

This morning I was in TK Maxx and found this...its one of the first 3 releases under the collaboration between Timex and Mr Porter, long sold out but sitting on a rack marked down to €30.

Then I saw Facebook had a notification, and when i opened the app there was a local sale of a first edition Spinnaker Fleuss for €190:

Been a busy week for my wallet...lol.

From wallet to wrist in no time flat! Sounds like a slogan for a watch site.

You got it. So far everything I have tried doesn’t have the notch that keeps the strap from flipping straight down. This creates a painful wearing experience, which I can tolerate for maybe 15 minutes-really disappointing.

I have had luck 3D printing NATO adapters for a G-Shock, so I may try creating a design for this watch. That would certainly allow for a cheap strap change with plenty of options.

I have been looking for a good price on a St. Moritz SLK for a while and they have been a bit silly price-wise since the first of the year.

I spotted one in an untested lot of watches and a bid of 24 shipped won.

I am looking forward to seeing the condition of this watch and if a new battery will revive it.

There is a Citizen and a Seiko Ana-digi in there, but it is mostly uninspiring. Of course there is also this sick Gruen.

If you are going to have an integrated bracelet, you might as well go all out. I am not a gold watch person, but I may need to reconsider...
