That Bulova green Surveyor that I posted about in the heads up thread got me thinking about another Surveyor. Just received a refurbished 98B220 from Amazon for $112.99.

I knew I didn't want the bracelet with the rose gold highlights. So I put it on a B & R brown leather band that I thought would match with the rose gold indices, and it looks fabulous!

Wow, looks like an entirely different watch with the leather band... so much better than the bracelet.

I like it as much as my black dial and white dial/silver indices surveyors. The indices are similar in color to some fresh stripped copper speaker wire I have seen. Just needed the right color strap to highlight that.

The Wolf Blake box finally arrived today.
Amazon was supposed to deliver on Sunday, but here we are...

Got to say, for $20 no complaints.
The outer box was a little scuffed up, but the sleeve took most of the "damage." And the watch box was in a cloth bag, so triple protected.

It seems brand new, because the lid wants to stay closed.
Didn't notice this in any of the product shots, but the middle slot has a hole in the back, which I assume is to place a cord to charge a smartwatch. Only thing I could nitpick is there is a lot of space at the top and bottom edge of the slots. But again, $20 for a new Wolf watch box...I'm golden.

Just bought an Amazon warehouse deal for a Bulova Murren 63B176 on leather strap for $236. Description said the manual was missing and the box is damaged, so hopefully the watch is in perfect shape.

My 10 and 5 slot wolf boxes with glass tops also have holes in the back. Just assumed that was their design but never though about the smart watch section.

I was thinking of getting a similar bezel insert for mine, nice one.

In the bracelet, I had actually put mine on a similar one yesterday. Just know that the straight end links will look a tad funky. I think that bit of funk is appropriate for these watches.
