As you may have noticed, we we're offline this morning. This was caused by the "Thanks" plug-in going rogue and using up way too many server resources. This triggered an automatic suspension by our hosting provider as they thought it was a malicious attack. The "Thanks" plug-in has been disabled, hopefully temporarily so I can determine if that was indeed the cause, and take steps to prevent it from happening in the future.

I apologize for the disruption and for any confusion that may have caused.

Hamilton Khaki Field 9721B from ebay. I actually already have one on a leather strap but now I'll have the bracelet and extra links. Couldn't help myself.

Here are the seller pics of the Sinn I just bought from Rakuten. It should be here next week. Looks barely even used.

Thanks to an Ebay deal in the Heads Up thread, I placed an order for my first Seiko Samurai, the blue whale dark save the ocean:

Took advantage of our Creation Watches discount code and placed an order for an SNKP05J1. Love me some Arabic numeral Seiko 5, and it's 42mm, which will look better on my wrist than the usual 37-38mm 5s.

Sometimes, you just gotta see it in person. Got a Dryden Chrono Diver DCD-1 Black Modern on the way:

The Samurai SRPD09 got here super fast. I just ordered this weekend. It photographs really well (and looks this good in person). This one is a definite keeper, a permanent addition to my Seiko diver collection.

And the watch feels great on the stock strap. The strap is very supple, comfortable. It's not like the hard rubber that comes on the SKX and some of the other divers that has to be boiled to be formed to fit.

I posted this watch the other day, and bought it.

[img][/img]

It came today, and I must say it punches above its weight. Numbers are placed, not just painted on. Strap is a little short, though.
I bought it at @ $36 (tax inc.); today it's at $50.
I'd say I got a deal.

The watch is still @ $35 at Certified.

Got a Ball Fireman Enterprise NM2188C-S5J-BK already shipped from Gemnation and on the way! Big thanks to cairoanan, who came busting through the deals thread yesterday handing out deals like a damn boss. Appreciate it man! I was thinking about this today after I saw a video with this watch on Youtube. This could easily end up being the highest quality watch in my collection despite paying more than twice as much for some of my other pieces. :D

Ever have that experience where a watch that has never interested you suddenly becomes an obsession? That happened to me recently with the Samurai, but only after I saw this bezel & insert mod pic on IG.

So now I have the Samurai (SRPB51), the bezel and bezel insert pictured above, and a blacked-out Erika’s Originals all inbound. I went all-in... and now I can’t wait for this thing to come together!

Super excited to see how the patina develops over time! It should get here early next week.
