I had to, right?

It's funny that this is the watch that would've broken my WPAC commitment for sure. Especially at that price!!! If you end up not liking it, you know where to find me [emoji6]

So now I have the Samurai (SRPB51), the bezel and bezel insert pictured above, and a blacked-out Erika’s Originals all inbound. I went all-in... and now I can’t wait for this thing to come together!
This looks awesome! I've thought about doing the same with a SRPB53. I'm a sucker for stainless steel dive bezels. In addition to the short lugs, the fact that the bezel matches the case instead of the dial will make seem smaller. And also wearing the watch on a strap instead of bracelet. If you don't mind, post the pic in the thread below too, along with where you got the bezel insert. Thanks!

Jesus Christ Yinzburgher, we are cut from the same cloth. Here is what arrived yesterday from my STRAPWEEK purchase. First white dial divers and Lagunitas and now this?

I don't care for SKX's. Not because I don't think they are a great watch, they are. I would just have a problem paying more than $150 for a watch with the 7s movement.

That yellow, however, is really changing my mind. I'm almost feeling like Gollum with how bad I wants it.

I’m about to shuffle some of the collection around. Bought this with a 5-55 bezel.

Made an offer on this on eBay that I was surprised was accepted. I've been a fan of electro-mechanical watches for a long time. This will be my first Cosmotron.

Incoming! What have you got in the mail?

Just pulled the trigger on my first ever Glycine. I have this Airman “The Chief” inbound from Ashford. Took advantage of the sale they were having, so $550 - 3% from Ebates. Hope I like in person as much as I do in pictures...

Well...besides the Spinnaker and MD mystery watch, these may inexplainably show up at my door:

The Oris is from circa 1965 and was worn by a US serviceman while stationed abroad in both the Vietnam and Korean wars. It runs a manual wind Oris KIF 652, which also has historical significance as the pin pallet movement that outperformed jeweled lever movements. In 1956 Oris was still restricted by Swiss law to producing only pin pallet movements. They submitted the 652 to the Neuchatel Observatory for testing...and upon completion they were awarded full chronometer certification! When the news broke, several jewel-lever producers approached Le Sentier technical college to conduct a comparison of Oris watches vs their own. Of course they thought their superior technology would easily outperform the paltry pin pallet 652...but they were sorely mistaken. The defeat would drive the jewel-lever manufacturers to do everything possible in the years ahead to keep pin pallet manufacturers from competing, including making it difficult for them to get Incabloc shock absorbers for their watches.

The Vialux scrates my itch for a large green-dialed monster. I really love old AS movements, and this one has the automatic AS2066.

This came to $33.80 shipped after the discount. The last watch roll I bought looks and works OK but the quality really isn't great. I'm hoping this one from Barton is a bit better. Reviews seem good. 🤞

This dude landed today -- my first Citizen. On paper it is everything I want, but I can't shake the feeling that it's just too sensible. Good materials, good engineering, easy to operate, easy to read. And an alarm -- why don't more analog watches have alarms? OTOH, it could just be my first step down a path that leads me to some wild and crazy Citizens (like MOT's, above -- very cool). Shout out to MacInFL for his A-T advocacy. Model AT9070-51L
