As you may have noticed, we we're offline this morning. This was caused by the "Thanks" plug-in going rogue and using up way too many server resources. This triggered an automatic suspension by our hosting provider as they thought it was a malicious attack. The "Thanks" plug-in has been disabled, hopefully temporarily so I can determine if that was indeed the cause, and take steps to prevent it from happening in the future.
I apologize for the disruption and for any confusion that may have caused.

That one almost got me too, guys. I was worried that I would end up ordering a bracelet on top of the watch...so I showed some self control. Plus, I have had my latest watch less than a week .
Good catch by you two. I am looking forward to seeing them.
I was a double sucker and DID order a bracelet on top of the watch. However, after placing my order and fully reading more, the bracelet may not fit this style of C65. I contacted Customer support right after I placed my order but this morning they claim to already have it ready for DHL shipping. So we'll see when it arrives.
I hope you told them that if there is anyone, anywhere, who can figure out if it will possibly fit..that person is you.
I love their bracelets and that watch will look awesome if it works.
Inspired by Conchita Turtle’s excellent writeup on the history of Citizen, I took a chance on this Cosmotron 0840. Hoping it still functions.

I also ended up buying two very similar watches but one is a Cosmotron and the other a Hisonic.
Just picked up an Alpinist on Amazon for $364.00 with 5% cashback using Prime CC and less $100 for a Amazon gift card. Net was $245.75 out of pocket. Thanks Osteoman for the tip in HUISABH.
Impulse eBay buy. Cost slightly more than a Double Quarter Pounder meal at McDs.
Citizen "C". Seller indicates it's working, but is missing crown and stem. Does anyone know anything about the early Citizens? I have a feeling a stem may be hard to come by.
Seller images.

You will have to get the model and/or movement numbers. I looked up Citizen C’s and find many examples, but not with that same movement. My guess is that it will not be too difficult to locate a suitable stem.

I bought another fuzzy picture lot on eBay for just shy of $30.

That was the most clear of the pictures. The ones on the left and right are pretty easy to identify, but the third one has me stumped. The seller said they thought it was a Boctok Russian Crest watch. I can see that there are Roman numerals, but that is about it. Thoughts?
The other two appear to be:

I think you like the excitement of fuzzy pictures

Yeah, it is a bad habit of mine. Most of the time it works out well in my favor though.

Dude, those aren't just fuzzy pictures. They are the worst pictures I've ever seen lol. I found your listing and this one is just too good....err......bad not to include. This seller basically just turned all the lights off and then snapped a pic with an old flip phone. I think the seller is just saying that it has a russian crest on it, the eagle, like a lot of dirskies. That first dirskie looks pretty cool though if you can get it running right.
