Sounds like a good day!

Man you have a few watches I love but I seriously love this one. Makes me like my airman less. What size is yours?

I'm with you. I waffle on Airman's, but pics like this make me want one really bad.

Pairing it with my all-time favorite **** as well is just

Thank you! I appreciate that. I have only been at this hobby for about three years so I am still figuring out what I like and why. This watch is 36mm which is, as I understand it, faithful to the size of the original. It may wear even smaller given the small dial size. Don't quote me on this, but I think the lug to lug on this is 45mm and the 40mm watch has a lug to lug of 50mm...just something to think about.

There is not a lot of contrast between the dial and hands, which is a gripe. I would like to have the black dial. Yesterday I mistook the GMT hand for the minute hand once. That's not so much a gripe because I wouldn't want to change from what was originally used.

Here is a picture with my NTH sub, since I know you have one of those. They are lined up by the top of the lugs.

And just because ;)

I had a few for y'all, as promised. Each time it was more whiskey...less old fashioned...until it was just whiskey neat. Maybe I will try again tonight 8-) .

Cars and Motown aren’t the only good things to come out of Detroit.

Busy week at work. Unwinding with an old fashioned and a relaxing read about, uh, well, maybe not so relaxing...
