Picking this thread back up kinda where we left off...

Apres hike reward:

Did a 5 mile out-n-back this morning with the BB36. Only a 1000 foot elevation gain, but rewarded with some great views.

Learned about this Zacapa 23 on the Fifth Wrist podcast and finally found some. Never had a sipping rum before but I think I’m hooked.

Great stuff. I had never known the world of sipping rums either, until a colleague in Paris introduced me. Zacapa is really good. DM if you ever want some other suggestions....I have a spreadsheet of my tastings with ratings and notes.

My beverage of choice.

Freshly ground and toasted pour over. There is nothing like it!
My wife only drinks coffee when it gets paired with this traditional Guatemalan pastry. Yum Yum!
