As you may have noticed, we we're offline this morning. This was caused by the "Thanks" plug-in going rogue and using up way too many server resources. This triggered an automatic suspension by our hosting provider as they thought it was a malicious attack. The "Thanks" plug-in has been disabled, hopefully temporarily so I can determine if that was indeed the cause, and take steps to prevent it from happening in the future.

I apologize for the disruption and for any confusion that may have caused.

Looks like the two on the left are taken. Just the BluShark straps are left. For these I'm going to send both to the same house. Who wants these two straps?

Pay it Forward

Post by WhaleTail »

My turn

All brand new:

18mm: two nato on right (red and grey/light purple either from American Eagle or A&F).
19mm: rubber in middle from the Swedish seller (cheapestnatostrap?)
22 mm: two grays on the left (not aliens haha, the rubber as above, nato from clockworksynergy via Best Buy)
Shipping on me in the U.S.Image

From memory FYI

tinpusher wrote:In an effort to contribute to this great thread here is my first submission for paying it forward. I was taking an inventory of the strap drawer and found these 22mm straps. The two on the right are brand new from BluShark. They are 3 ring single pass and are extremely soft/pliable. The dark Navy blue is also brand new from cheapestnatostraps. It is called the Seal strap or something like and doesn't have any holes. The final strap on the left is also brand new but I have no idea where it's from. I bought it awhile ago and have long since sold the watch it was meant for.

I'd prefer to just pay for shipping in the States on these straps. If you need some variety in straps or need to start getting 22mm straps for a recent purchase then here you go.
If PetWatch did not put claims on that one to the left, I would like to. Thx.

Pay It Forward: The $35 Field Watch Challenge Reject Edition

Since neither of these worked out as entries for the $35 Field Watch Challenge, going to offer them up here in PIF for anyone who wants either or both.

I paid less than $35 for each of these, and doesn't seem worth my time or effort to try to resell them.
SO I'M GIVING THEM AWAY!!!!!
Not required, but if anyone feels inclined to send me something for shipping, I'm happy to oblige.

Hey everybody!

Sporkboy suggested I cross-post this watch I threw up on the sales forum for $5 shipping. It really is a great little beater, and I actually wore it quite a bit when considering the BB36 to see how the size worked. Would love to get it to a good new home.

I agree. I have started to work on some of my watches that I have acquired, but need a good cleaning or some maintenance. If I can clear out some of those, then maybe I can start snagging stuff from this thread again. On the plus side, I should have some things to post here at some point.

a normal bubble envelope does the trick for bracelets, straps and even watch heads. If still available, I'd take the bracelet and the black leather one.

Also.. as a reminder to all, I still have the Casio World Time available posted above by MoT. Great watch but needs at least an 8 inch wrist OR not wear with long sleeve.

Seems like I totally dropped the ball on sending you the bracelet and strap. Let me know if you still want the bracelet and black leather. Sorry about the lack of follow through until now! Let’s get PIF back on track.

Thank you Robbie for the strap, the bracelet and the batteries. Highly appreciated!
