Splurge was a tasty treat. Knee Deep does indeed make some great beers, my favorite being Breaking Bud. Just a great GADA IPA. I’m a fan of west coast IPA’s vs the haze craze that’s taken over. I even had a guy I vaguely keep in touch with send me some Pliny the Elder so I could indulge in a grail beer! If anyone can get hold of Pliny the Younger or any of the other grail worthy west coast IPA’s I will pay you a king’s ransom for the beer and shipping! Even had to have Pliny shipped twice thanks to FedEx... Either that or if someone can get a hold of a bottle of Blanton’s bourbon under $75. I’m willing to trade first borns for that too!

Unfortunately they don't bottle the younger. You just have to wait in a 7-11 hour line to taste it there. Can't bring myself to do it when the elder is so readily available here.

I am trying to get my Canadian bros to ship me some Blantons Gold and some Blantons single barrel black label, neither of which are sold in the US. I am gonna dig up a picture of his bourbon room.

I'm back home after over a week away (again). Took only the running watch with me this time (again) so it was nice to come home to a real watch. Our refrigerator was out when we got home. I decided to fix it . My part will be here tomorrow . My wife called at lunch and told me that we are getting a new refrigerator . It really is time for a replacement, but I can't help thinking that instead of a fridge I'm plunking down 2/3 of a Speedmaster!
