As you may have noticed, we we're offline this morning. This was caused by the "Thanks" plug-in going rogue and using up way too many server resources. This triggered an automatic suspension by our hosting provider as they thought it was a malicious attack. The "Thanks" plug-in has been disabled, hopefully temporarily so I can determine if that was indeed the cause, and take steps to prevent it from happening in the future.
I apologize for the disruption and for any confusion that may have caused.

Re: LWDS (The Legion of Watch Deal Seekers)
Forgot today was tool watch Tuesday and not just Timex Tuesday.
This watch is a tool and just used the bezel to time something at work.
Really loving this watch

Good morning, Legion! Tool watch / Speedy Tuesday. Went back to bracelet last night. Boy was it a pain the ass to get it back on.

This is me as well today. Wearing the running watch, but nobody wants to see that (it has no soul). I am, however, hoping that a package arrives today and I have something to report back tonight .

... What time is it?
Re: LWDS (The Legion of Watch Deal Seekers)
Vostok/Vintage Wednesday
I just got back from the Periodontist’s office where I had gum grafts done. Since my periodontist is the same birth year as me, I wore my birth year Timex (1979).
Here it is with my last crisp cookie for 6 weeks: Here it is with the tools used on my mouth this morning:

Today is Vostok Wednesday, but does Sdelka have an exception and is compliant any day of the week? I think she/he should.
No compliance right now, will probable make the switch when I get home.

Thanks! I am too. Wanted to wear my Vostok this morning but when I went into the box, I just had to wear this one because I hadn't worn it for a few days. It's so versatile too.Bbrou33 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 22, 2020 2:17 pmI'm very infatuated with that watchStretch44 wrote:

I second the proposal by Split-Time. I suggest the following language be adopted m by the LWDS.
Let it be known that wearing any MoT traveling watches shall constitute LWDS compliance. This applies to current, past and future traveling watches so long as the MoT Watch Deal Forum is their ‘home’.
What say ye?

That was Stretch, not me, who asked if Sdelka should have an exemption. However, I am happy to second your motion if you are making one . Honestly, Monday being a holiday sort of messed me up...things are crazy at work, so when Sdelka arrived yesterday I knew I was going to wear it today regardless.Sporkboy wrote: ↑Wed Jan 22, 2020 3:15 pm I second the proposal by Split-Time.
