When I explained "Field Watch Friday" she asked, "says who?" "The Legion of Watch Deal Seekers!" I replied. Then she told me that I am crazy.

Did she not understand how awesome it was that BOTH of you were compliant?!? My wife has finally accepted me taking watch and beverage pics at dinner. Her mom still brings up me taking a wrist shot with the golden gate bridge in the backround while we were sailing. She didn't understand then, but I've got the whole family coming around.

My mom is telling me about all the compliments she has gotten on the Hamilton I gave her for Christmas (WTF?!? Nobody EVER compliments my watches, let alone multiple comments in under 2 months!)

My FIL now sends me wrist shots, usually accompanied with beer or whiskey. I feel like I have done a good job of getting everyone on board with my hobby lol.

That's awesome. Before I forget...great job with your Mom and the Hamilton!

No, my wife doesn't get it. I think she looks at it as a little bit self absorbed. I wish I could remember who said that one of the things they like about this place is that we can get just as excited over a $10 Casio as a Rolex or Omega. I would buy that person a beer.
Ironically, that was me!(post #1512) Now where's my beer?!? [emoji6][emoji23]

Beverage compliance with a beer I have been (unceremoniously) storing for nearly 4 years. I present, Brooklyn Brewing’s Black Chocolate Stout. The Imperial Stout that many others aspire to. Enjoying this as I wind down from a great day with friends and cheap Mexican cuisine (complete with proof of purchase courtesy of my 2 year old) with my trusty Casio MDV-106. Really should pair this watch with its newest siblings from Casio. @larand I’m digging your strap choice!

I will second that motion. I also move that any picture containing more than six (6) bottles of hot sauce be compliant 8-)

Y'all are making me want one of those Casios. The strap changes look great. I guess of all of the watches to put on my radar, that is one I could get away with.

It’s the watch that got me into this beautiful rabbit/black hole. Can’t ask for anything more for a watch that cost $38. My wife has already asked when I’m buying the new blue dial. The joys of sharing an Amazon account.

When not enough bottles... a good Home Made Salsa does even better
