As you may have noticed, we we're offline this morning. This was caused by the "Thanks" plug-in going rogue and using up way too many server resources. This triggered an automatic suspension by our hosting provider as they thought it was a malicious attack. The "Thanks" plug-in has been disabled, hopefully temporarily so I can determine if that was indeed the cause, and take steps to prevent it from happening in the future.

I apologize for the disruption and for any confusion that may have caused.

Figured I would need some water resistance today. Thought about trying the Seiko Flightmaster out but ended up going with the 013.

My son got to watch his first manned US orbital launch. He reminded me that the US Space and Rocket Center is still closed. They actually opened today be we haven’t told him because the kids things are not open.

Those brews are looking pretty tasty! I’ve seen you post here before but welcome aboard to the Legion! Great pic of some great beers and a minty fresh Traska. How are they in the flesh?

Thanks! I’ve been around a while but work keeps me pretty busy so I’m not as active as I’d like to be. Not sure if you question was in regard to the beer or the watch so I guess I’ll answer for both. [emoji6]

The beers were all excellent, no surprise there. Anything that comes from a barrel at either of these breweries is sure to please.

As for the Traska, I picked it up on a whim after seeing so many wrist shots of it and I was not disappointed. Build quality is excellent for the price point and I never get tired of looking at it. I was worried I wouldn’t wear it much because of the unique dial color but it has found it’s way into regular rotation.

Consecration is one of my all time favorites and I’m of the opinion Russian River is the best brewery in the US from top to bottom (and I’ve done a lot of research). Everything they make is stellar and I’m always glad to see folks try something other than Pliny. I make it out there a couple times a year and always mule back a few bottles to stash away for such occasions.

Signed crown Sunday and beverage compliant for a nice afternoon on the lake and at the pool. 2 year old is getting comfortable/learning more about swimming and floating and it’s cool to see.

Mod Monday. Strap change here. Wish I had the original strap, but it was nowhere to found. Oh well, can't really complain.

Mod Monday. Lunar Pilot on a new polished jubilee style bracelet. I think I like it.

Mod Monday compliant with the Invicta MilSub. Got a new stretch NATO from Vario on Amazon to try it out on. I’ll post some pics soon, but it looks like a nice upgrade on the CNS version (better hardware, finishing, and delivery time), but don’t know if it’s worth 3x the price.

Woah! So many cool things going on with that piece. What’s the back story on it?

I love this watch, very solid specs, and funny mixture of completely different styles and fonts.
Pictures borrowed from manufacturer website. Watch is discontinued quite a few years ago.

Remind me, which jubilee is that? I’m digging the combo!

Has to be one of the tooliest of tool watches. I’m sure you may wear something else at the end of this month if you are still on board for the Woolbrook MechaQ Worldtimer!
