What you're saying is if i have trouble installing hands sober, I should try it tipsy? Game on!Dub Rubb wrote: ↑Wed Nov 18, 2020 1:35 am I know, I know. It's been like 24 hours since I built this watch, but the hands weren't doing it for me. Still have 3 different sets incoming, but so far, these new ones are winning. Also, I have learned that I can now remove and install movements and hands after several whiskeys!! Cheers legion!

It's a Very Vintage Vednesday here with a 1920s era Bedford. The cost of the overhaul was much more than the watch is worth, but the case engraving and the dial texture made it worth preserving.

Vintage Vednesday!
Re: LWDS (The Legion of Watch Deal Seekers)
Actually not far off! I had too many last night to recommend that route, but my real suggestion is NO coffee, and 2 adult beverages. This was of course an isolated testing over months and months and using only one subject(myself) with varying degrees of sobriety. I call the no coffee/two beverage method the goldilocks method. And don't forget to have a 3rd beverage to celebrate your successful hand installation!Sussa wrote:What you're saying is if i have trouble installing hands sober, I should try it tipsy?
