As you may have noticed, we we're offline this morning. This was caused by the "Thanks" plug-in going rogue and using up way too many server resources. This triggered an automatic suspension by our hosting provider as they thought it was a malicious attack. The "Thanks" plug-in has been disabled, hopefully temporarily so I can determine if that was indeed the cause, and take steps to prevent it from happening in the future.

I apologize for the disruption and for any confusion that may have caused.

I recently watched Train to Busan on Netflix. A good spin on the zombie genre.

On a related note, Kingdom (Korean period zombie series on Netflix) is superb. The Korean zombies are killing it (pun intended)!

I watched Old Guard with Charlize T. For an action flick I was entertained. I'm not a Comic Book (excuse me, Graphic Novel  ) fan. So I can't tell how this differs from that. But I liked it.

Watched Bright on Netflix the other night. Not a bad movie. My criteria for a movie is action, humor, guns, and car chases. Criteria was met.

Then I watched Adam Sandlers Murder Mystery and his older movie Do-Over. Both were pretty funny. Admittedly, Murder Mystery was a bit better but Do Over had me laughing more. Again, I'm a Dude and I like crude humor.

I think I'm one of the few people I know who enjoyed Bright for more than the action flick veneer. There is some real promise with that story, and there were some obvious short cuts taken so they could get something in the can. I'd enjoy seeing it fleshed out in prequel/sequels or as a series.

I liked Bright when it was called Alien Nation.

Loved Alien Nation! It's tragic it came out right before the huge 90's sci-fi boom.

Exactly. I kept waiting for the alien dude to say, "You know, your last name in our language means excrement and cranium."

I highly recommend Time to Hunt on Netflix with a good story line.

I think Adam Sandlers movies get bad rep but they are entertaining and doesn't take a lot of brain to figure out the movie plot! Another couple adam sandler netflix that I recently watched that I think were good are Sandy Wexler and The Week Of.

I've never seen Snakes on a Plane or Sharknado. :( Am I missing anything? Does anybody here recommend either of them? If not, is there something in a similar vein that you do recommend? 🙏

It's been awhile since I saw Sharknado, but I was not disappointed. Don't get me wrong - it's an awful movie. But it knows it's an awful movie and tongues are firmly in cheek. If you enjoy B-movies, go for it.

Haven't seen Sharknado, but I did see Snakes on a Plane. It's a crappy movie, but so bad it's good. Some great quotes... I mean come on, it's Sam Jackson!

Any of the SyFy series of creature/disaster movies are worth a watch.

None of them are any good, but all are entertaining.
SyFy knows what they're making.
They even had one that featured Debbie Gibson & Tiffany!

I just watched Collateral starring Tom Cruise from 2004. Surprisingly a very good movie. And he wears an IWC Vintage Ingenieur Automatic IW3233
