As you may have noticed, we we're offline this morning. This was caused by the "Thanks" plug-in going rogue and using up way too many server resources. This triggered an automatic suspension by our hosting provider as they thought it was a malicious attack. The "Thanks" plug-in has been disabled, hopefully temporarily so I can determine if that was indeed the cause, and take steps to prevent it from happening in the future.

I apologize for the disruption and for any confusion that may have caused.

Minor usability suggestion

Post by cel4145 »

If you happen upon an easy way to do this (might require theme editing, so might not be easy), I recommend moving the report, quote, and like menu to the bottom of the display:

That's because one always uses those things *after* reading a post, and so it is handier to have it at the bottom than to have to scroll back up the top of the post. I am actually surprised that phpBB would put them at the top as the default given that obvious usability reason.

Good idea.

I'm not sure how easy/difficult it would be, but I will look in to it.
