Hey guys...
long time, no post. I'm trying to move away from the expensive watch habit (and hobbies which result in the accumulation of stuff), but sometimes it keeps pulling me back in.

11.11 is tomorrow (err, at least for me) and the AliEx sales are popping up. Jody from Just One More Watch put out his "top 10" list:

1. The Good Old Steeldive/Addiesdive 6105 homage

But I did go to AliEx and found these Aesop Tourbillon watches which will be $265.

That seems like a crazy price for a tourbillon. Even if it's cheap and nasty.
(Turns out they're not tourbillons, but rather "carrousels". Blancpain can explain:
Jody did an unboxing, and he didn't hate it. I think my daughter will get a kick out of the movement and the sparkly, astronomy-y dial.



Someone talk me out of it. Or find something better! Clock's ticking!

I picked up one of these Aesops last week and really like it. It’s not finely finished, but it is a lot of fun for the money, and you get a “real” tourbillon experience. I like it enough that I’m pondering adding one of the pricier Aliexpress tourbillons when they go on sale tomorrow.
