nicegator wrote: Fri Mar 04, 2022 6:46 am This upcoming release from Oak and Oscar, new Humboldt GMT is expected to ship in 5-10 weeks, and has a launch price of $1,985 on a bracelet, and $1,825 on a strap.
An article caught my attention on wornandwound:
https://wornandwound.com/oak-oscar-upda ... our-bezel/

The site is more informative :
https://oakandoscar.com/products/the-hu ... 1384314933

The most impressive to me is :
1.both a Faraday cage to maximize anti-magnetism as well as a rubber stabilizer to protect against sudden shock, and 200 m WR.All this fit in case having height of 12.5mm.
2.independently set the 24-hour hand.
3.power reserve of 56 hours with 28,800 bph.
4.Bracelet with 6 positions micro adjustment.
Functioanlity + specs = seems a great travel GADA. Thanks for sharing!!

The explorer numerals on the new resolute don't quite work for me, but that super compressor looks great.

Same here. Glad I have the old one. And I’ll be buying the super compressor for sure.

I feel the opposite. I dislike Mercedes hands a lot, so this is a welcome option for me.

Mercedes hands? Are we still talking about RZE watches?

Yup. RZE doesn't use Mercedes hands, which is a plus in my book.

I get the innovation aspect, but I have to say I found the new Omega line up distinctly weak. The new ATs are a real step back.

About the only thing of interest to me would be revised thickness, and the website says nothing about it. I’ll withhold judgment for now. I think it looks ok, but if the dimensions are not an upgrade, I also see it as a relative fail.

I have to agree - the Aqua Terras feel like the early 2000s Aqua Terra. Poor date window execution and boring dial. I am huge Omega fan but not impressed with this line up. Only the Speedmaster 57 seems appealing.

PRX Chronograph - this one will be hard to resist. Strong Royal Oak Chrono vibes with the panda design.
