Too big to fail or yard sale they all hale
Run or hide just for fun deals I find

For now it's on a navy blue Barton alligator grain, with a deployment clasp from my srpb43. Still might pickup a stingray leather but I couldn't decide on a color that I likedTheJohnP wrote:AndroidIsAwesome wrote: ↑Sun Jul 21, 2019 7:26 pm Took this today and thought the colors blend together very well

LOL I didn't think anyone would remember.... Surprisingly that jacket is actually quite good quality and fits well. I've got the full outfit from that scene in Skyfall (minus the seamaster )yinzburgher wrote:Nice pic! And I really hope you pin that badge to your Skyfall jacket.....yes, I remember. [emoji38]

One of these days I'll use my memory for something productive. I remember your comment about it made me laugh at the time. It was like you were proud of yourself for resisting buying a watch with an ebay coupon but questioning what's wrong with your brain that you had to buy the jacket. Hey, you could do a lot worse than adhering to James Bond's fashion trends. And if you can do it for less, better still.AndroidIsAwesome wrote: ↑Mon Aug 12, 2019 9:41 pmLOL I didn't think anyone would remember.... I think James Bond is responsible for my omega obsession. The Connery sub with ill fitting NATO isn't my thing, but the skyfall AT? Eff yeah! My AD told me the rumor was that the dial color was based on Daniel Craig's eyes lol. I had forgotten about the jacket, but I am happy for the reminder! I should probably pick one of those up. You could definitely have worse fashion trends to follow than 007.yinzburgher wrote:One of these days I'll use my memory for something productive. Also, this is one of my favorite display back movements ever.

Re: Post your all time favorite picture you've taken of your watch
As we all have, I've taken a ton of pictures of my watches. Photographically, some are much better than others, but for this thread, I'm picking the following three because of the uniqueness of the situations.
This is really a terrible shot of my Glycine Airman 1953 LE. The story is that I was taking wrist shots on the day of the last total eclipse on August 21, 2017. As I was about to take a picture I noticed that the eclipse was being captured by my eyeglasses and refracted into the shadow of my head. I decided to make the eclipse the focal point of the shot and left the watch blurred in the foreground.
This is a picture of my Orient Marine Sporty with a green dial. I bought it in the spring of 2017 because the color reasonably matched the green of my favorite sports team. I wore that as my game day watch every game that season, which ended with a Super Bowl win. When I had the chance to take a picture with the Lombardi Trophy, there was only one watch to choose.
I was sitting at an outdoor restaurant on a business trip to CT as the evening was turning from dusk to dark when I noticed the tritium lume on my Ball Engineer III Endurance really popping, even though there was still quite a bit of ambient light. I managed to snap this shot, which is still my favorite lume shot I've ever taken.

Not my all-time favorite, but I was messing around with a manual 25mm f1.8 lens today.
