Re: WRUW
Fast watch on a slow day... Really liking my Alpina on a rally strap from WatchGecko, that someone pointed out here in the HUISBAH thread.

Re: WRUW
Thanks! The strap is the additional one from Astra watches, with the quick release. It paired well with this watch so I've been using it this way

Re: WRUW
Wearing my great grandfather's Omega today that I just found. Still can't find the exact year or model but I think it's a Cal 351 movement from around 1950. Surprisingly it is running fine still

76 years ago today my grandfather landed on Omaha beach. Unbelievable what he and others went through that day and the following months. I'm wearing his watch today. Those are his medals and Ike jacket in the background.

Re: WRUW
The caseback has no markings on it, but I haven't opened it up yet. I found really similar models online but none with a red arrow seconds hand. I'll have to get a better caseback tool and open itwatchpalooza wrote:If you have the reference number and serial I can help you date it.AndroidIsAwesome wrote: ↑Sat Jun 06, 2020 1:45 pm Wearing my great grandfather's Omega today that I just found.
