As you may have noticed, we we're offline this morning. This was caused by the "Thanks" plug-in going rogue and using up way too many server resources. This triggered an automatic suspension by our hosting provider as they thought it was a malicious attack. The "Thanks" plug-in has been disabled, hopefully temporarily so I can determine if that was indeed the cause, and take steps to prevent it from happening in the future.
I apologize for the disruption and for any confusion that may have caused.
This is a Forstner band that is a "reissue" of a JB Champion bracelet that seems to have ended up on a lot of NASA Speedmasters in the 1960's though at least the early to mid 1980's.
My wife gave this to me for Father's Day and it just arrived yesterday afternoon. I wanted to try it out on a couple of different watches, and so far I could not be happier. It has the cool retro look going on, it is widely adjustable in extremely small increments and so far and it feels great. I wanted to try it on some other watches because I do have some concern that it may scratch the inside of lugs.
Here are some cool photos:
Neil Armstrong
Apollo 8 crew
John Young training prior to the first Space Shuttle launch
