I want to share with you all, I have bought many many watches from Touch of Modern, and gotten many deals that were pretty good to say the least, but this year in particular, I have had an extremely high rate of watches I received that had some defect or another, several with hands out of adjustment, and many many more I received with scratched cases or bracelets. literally about 70% over a 3-4 month period and every single order I made in June, arrived damaged in some way. I'm certain the vendors were getting rid of shop display models and customer returns, but they listed the items as new in each case, and the prices were decent deal prices but not the best, what made them deals were the ToM promos for store credit.

Touch of Modern is a great place to find good deals, but please everyone be certain to thoroughly inspect your watches with a magnifier when you receive them, if I hadn't had this habit, I would have put them on and then when I later saw the scratches I would not have known if I made them while wearing them in the first day or two, or if they were there already. Vendors on ToM are certainly taking advantage of their customers this year in particular, maybe it's a tough year for everybody, but we don't deserve to pay new prices for used/display model/or customer return watches, regardless of what kind of year it's been. That being said, ToM has a credit back promo right now, that's why I wanted to post this today, so folks are aware. Many vendors at ToM are regulars and I would expect this behavior is going to continue, so be careful and inspect your watches before wearing them!

Agree, and I actually sent an inquiry to the contact info on their website and got a 'undeliverable' response. Like a few Kickstarter projects ,this is likely enamel paint which is just a glossy paint, and the prices of their other watches with non-'enamel' dials are the exact same, with similar same specs, so i don't see how it could be vitreous enamel, which requires kiln firing etc....
