As you may have noticed, we we're offline this morning. This was caused by the "Thanks" plug-in going rogue and using up way too many server resources. This triggered an automatic suspension by our hosting provider as they thought it was a malicious attack. The "Thanks" plug-in has been disabled, hopefully temporarily so I can determine if that was indeed the cause, and take steps to prevent it from happening in the future.

I apologize for the disruption and for any confusion that may have caused.

Yep, in college! But I remember it being more tame than expected. There were restrictions on the participatory activities - don't throw anything that needed to be cleaned up - and newbies/virgins weren't hazed. Probably because it was hosted by the university. Maybe I'll find a showing around here when we can gather indoors again.

Back in the day a friend of mine worked at a Theater that would show this regularly and he said it was a disaster after each show.

Oh, yes. I have seen RHPS many times on the big screen.

In 1975 it was something of a phenomenon on my college campus. Tim Curry and Susan Sarandon.

It's been running every Saturday night at the Clinton Street Theater here in Portland since '78. Costumes, newspaper, rice, squirt guns, etc.

"Let's Do the Time Warp Again."
Just my $0.02 USD as always.

I've never seen this live version. Even older he is still pretty good at belting out the tunes.

When asked who I like better, the Stones or Zeppelin, I always answer with, The Doors.

And those of you who are younger. Here's your 90's Grunge.

When I was in the music biz, our company distributed Mammoth. So I worked on the follow up albums Perennial Favorites and Bedlam Ballroom.

For me, his music, his stories have a calming effect, especially on vinyl

That cracks me up every time I hear it.

Been listening to this album on vinyl every night as I drift off to sleep for a couple weeks now. Its hypnotic, beautiful, and haunting. And perfect 2021 apocalypse music.

You seem to be quite the Constellation Records fan. MoT approves. :D

RIP, man.
Like “Egg and daughter night”:

‘If you like your apples sweet
And your streets are not concrete
You'll be in your bed by nine every night
Take your hand-spanked, corn-fed gal
And your best friend's four-eyed pal
To a treat right down the street as dynamite
Don't let your conscience be your guide
If you put your foot inside
You wish you left your well-enough alone
When you got hell to pay
Put the truth on layaway
And blame it on that old crazy bone’

...but I think my favorite is:
