As you may have noticed, we we're offline this morning. This was caused by the "Thanks" plug-in going rogue and using up way too many server resources. This triggered an automatic suspension by our hosting provider as they thought it was a malicious attack. The "Thanks" plug-in has been disabled, hopefully temporarily so I can determine if that was indeed the cause, and take steps to prevent it from happening in the future.
I apologize for the disruption and for any confusion that may have caused.
Bargain, not deal. Fullmosa leather straps that seem particularly well suited for modding to fit a G-Shock are available on Amazon for $10 - $14 (dep. on color), incl. free returns and -- it seems -- a spring bar tool. I don't believe these are quick release.
Hardware options include "smoky gray." Color options include: black, brown, gray, red, "coffee" and light brown. Prime eligible, otherwise free shipping w/ purchase over $25.

Finally Hamilton is adding this watch to their collection almost 5 years later after the movie release. Just saw it on Instagram, it's the Hamilton Field "Murph" Auto.
The MSRP is a little much at over $940+.
Wonder how much they'll get down to or if it's popular enough to offer a premium.

$272 TechnoMarine 7750 chronograph arrived. Movement is decorated, so not even the lowest grade.

Boy that looks great in a real life pic.
The urge is strong. The pocketbook however... [emoji38]
Its funny, growing up in the northeast as a kid and spending the last 20 or so years on the West coast, I still love hearing "pocket book". Same goes for me calling it a bureau. It's not an effing dresser!

Got one of those off ebay and the quality is pretty bad. It is nothing like it looks in the photos, the leather is VERY thin and the stitching is uneven and gives the impression it will fall off. Ended up paying double and getting a proper strap from sectime.
Apologies for jumping the gun a bit on the CWS $100 discount code. I was at work but it was slow so I scrolled through emails, found the code and tried it on the blue Oris Artix over $1K and it worked. So I tried it on an Oris BC3 over $500 and that worked. So I tried a $370 Hamilton Jazzmaster and that worked too. So I posted it as a deal thinking it probably applied to everything over a certain amount. In my head I was picturing a free-for-all on Freddy C's and Eco-Drives and VSA Chronographs. Then I got back to work but intermittently checked in to see that the code wasn't working on very many watches. I wish CWS would have provided a list of eligible watches in their email or on their site. Basically it was just dumb luck that the first 3 I tried happened to all be included. Anyway, sorry for the confusion but I hope some people got some deals out of it. The code ends at 2pm EST on 2/12 so there is still time to use it. Here are a few of the remaining watches the EGDVDAY code applies to. There are likely others that it applies to that I haven't tried. Don't forget to go through Ebates/Rakuten for 3% cash back.
As feedback for recent Rakuten purchase. I quickly received my watch from RichTime store on Global Rakuten. It is exactly as described and price was already good and then they reduced the tax in the final invoice. You can buy safely from them. However ebates did not work and I still couldn't get the cashback. I kept the watch anyway it is basically new I am happy.

Did you contact Ebates? There is a pretty easy form on their website to submit claims for missing cashback. I've had success with their customer service via that method.

@watch_your_wristwatch
Nice enough watch but waiting 5 years to release at the same time as their HACK reissues....bad timing. This is a cool watch that I like every time I look at it but forget about instantly 15 minutes later. $940 wow! But like most Hamiltons will be available for 50% off at Ashford in 2 years.
