Speaking of squares, I have one of these GLX5600VH-1 on the way. It was a seasonal color. Unfortunately not solar, but I'm a sucker for the gray (and green). $59.40+tax&shipping. List $99, but all over ebay for more.

Note the disclaimer: "Outlet store products may have imperfections to the packaging or may be missing a manual. Products themselves are in new condition."

Also for the same price is The Walter (DW5900-1). Maybe not quite as good a deal, but still interesting:

Just a heads up. This website (https://www.heimdallrr.com/) is not the official Heimdallr site. I'm not sure of their affiliation with Heimdallr.

This is the link to Heimdallr's official site.
https://www.heimdallrwatch.com/
https://www.heimdallrwatch.com/blacklisted-sellers

I assume this means that https://www.heimdallrr.com is a legitimate company who has Heimdallrr's blessing to sell their watches? Buying stuff from China is very confusing....

I think this Hamilton Navy ("daily deal", 500USD @ Ashford) is one of the most beautiful of the brand.

Some time ago I was offered one, white and second hand. Price was good, but it was in a regular condition and needed a strap. Maybe I should have bought it, and taken it to the watchmaker for polishing.

I had one in this same black dial version for a short time. Really nicely finished, wore fantastically on the wrist and kept great time; however, I hardly wore it and ended up flipping because under most lighting conditions the rhodium hands were barely visible.

Some more decent prices for unusual DW5600 models. I have the grey on order; it’s been described as having the color of a mid-90s computer terminal. That’s a bit of nostalgia for me, but it might not be for everyone.

DW5600SC-8 grey, for $50:

DW5600SC-2, light blue, also $50:

I added it to my Watch List and after a few hours they sent a BIN offer of $1,200.

Nice. They have a bunch of Captain Cooks as well. Argh, if only I could get over the fact that the 37mm versions don't have a screw-down crown. I have communicated with the owner of Time Machine Plus before - I am not surprised he's willing to drop prices. I have told him about MoT.

Here is a very pretty 42mm. I don't know much about the Bollywood star though.

Another nice Captain Cook, in 37mm:

Just FYI, I was tracking prices for new 37mm Rado Captain Cooks at Black Friday time, and they went into the $1200-1300 range. I'm actually okay with the 37mm not having a screw-down crown, since the original didn't as well - and most 1960s era dive watches didn't as well. What I'm not okay with on the Golden Horse is not having a minutes track -- though I'm aware of course that the original didn't as well. :)

Good price on those pastel squares! Trying to figure out how to justify buying one. Re. the G-Lide, In my limited experience w/ casio solar digitals, the display contrast is much lower than on non-solar models -- I avoid them any more. (The STN + solar models I've seen, OTOH, are awesome.)

Interesting NOS G-Shock w/ telememo. Rally-like strap and nice, small dimension: 42mm including the bumpers (see video below). $49 incl. free shipping. Note in the photos: the strap looks rough, and in one photo you can see the BATT indicator.

The GLX5600VH-1 isn't solar. Kind of like the Hershel variant. All the G-Lides aren't solar (although I have one of the round squares that is...)

I am not a big Tissot fan, but I do like their Heritage line. In fact, the only Tissot I own is the Heritage Navigator worldtimer.

This Heritage Visodate is simple, yet elegant piece, and with an ETA 2836-2 movement represents a solid automatic dress watch, with day/date functions to boot. Not sure if these were priced lower before but, at $ 299, they are currently a full $ 100 cheaper than at Jomashop.

Speaking of Tissot. I'm also not a big fan, but there's a sale in Nordstrom rack
https://www.nordstromrack.com/events/47 ... ba26916440
My pick would be this one, they have also a bunch of chronograph models.
