Looks like hardware stores closed at least until March 7....meanwhile liquor stores and Tabacs remain open. Apparently DIY is not addictive enough...

Sorry for the thread drift here but your profile says Munich and SF, where are you that the hardware stores are closed until March 7?
And thank goodness you can still get liquor..

Interesting stay safe havent heard news about Munich specifically but I am guessing things must be bad if they made the choice to close hardware stores until March 7th

Alright, so I think I am going for the “Maximum Effort” approach, and leveraging our new pax closet. Got it for clothes, but who needs socks and underwear anyway? Here the first drawer with 135 watches:

Awesome! Is there an insert holding the pillows? Also, what color is that pax system? Since we're relocating, I'm going to have to do the Pax again in our new home.

Its the natural wood color frame / drawers / shelves, and we did this on the front. Floor uneven, will add a baseboard to cover the bottom.

Wow! That is looks great, is impressive and I predict will be the most “pinched and zoom” photo in the forum’s history. Well done!watchpalooza wrote: ↑Sat Mar 27, 2021 4:03 pm Alright, so I think I am going for the “Maximum Effort” approach, and leveraging our new pax closet. Re: Watchpalooza’s watch storage project
Finished two rolling shelves - each holds 90 watches. Two more to go... will have to get better pics tomorrow.
Re: Watchpalooza’s watch storage project
Only half way there and it's absolutely awesome. So how long does it take you to get dressed in the morning?.... errrr, I meant, to pick out a watch. [emoji16]

Re: Watchpalooza’s watch storage project
Definitely faster now that I have most of my watches in plain sight. Still the more difficult choice is which watch to wear to bed...takes longer than in the morning.
