Ashford has several different Girard Perregaux in stock. Not many know about the brand on this side of the Atlantic, but the joke back in Europe is that they're the "3.5" if you expand the Holy Trinity just a tiny bit. Their precious metals 1966 pieces with manufacture movements are every bit as nice as anything from JLC, Vacheron and AP. Their movements are considered top-notch, both from a technical perspective and finishing (i.e. solid gold rotors). For context, the original Overseas had a GP movement in it, some Bulgari Daniel Roth's as well, and I think MB&F currently uses GP eubaches.
GP's super-high watches are utterly ridiculous--repeaters, bridge tourbillon's, perpetual calendars', sapphire cases, the slot watch, etc.
Anyhow, just like anything dress watch these days, you can usually find them for a bargain 30% off... but Ashford would gladly sell them to you for half off+ another 11% off with the current promotion + 3% off from Rakuten.
The entry-level solid gold 1966 drops to less than $7.5K, which is usually less than what they go for used. The big date, moon-phase in rose gold is a tad over $11K doing the same. The weird 44mm dress watch with the fume dial clocks in at around $8.5K, so if you have Big Foot-sized wrists and are on the lookout for a huge, yet thin gold dress watch... that's probably your best bet.
