As a reminder, even though MoT's is a free site, we do rely on two methods lights on. One is a referral generator that creates (mostly) unobtrusive links. This depends on the site being whitelisted in any ad-blocking software you use. If you could please whitelist this site, we would be ever thankful. (We promise there are no pop-ups, pop-unders or other annoying distractions.)

The other method is donations from members and visitors. These are completely voluntary and there is no obligation. Any donations go directly towards site operations and are greatly appreciated. Click here to donate today.

Thank you!

Never heard of Xpeda before, but they make a LOT of watches - https://xpedawatch.com/
However, this is their first Kickstarter campaign for the Amelia Automatic Aviation Watch, inspired by Amelia Earhart.

Personally wonder if they missed the mark by making a watch inspired by Amelia Earhart sized at 42mm.
You think they would go for something 40mm or under. But could be wrong in my assumptions.

Super Early Bird and Early Bird pricing is the same at around $200
Kickstarter pricing is $226
Regular price will be about $300

The only difference between Super Early Bird and Early Bird is in what is included. You get a commemorative box and 2 extra straps with Super Early Bird.

Estimated delivery is December 2019

One interesting feature for this watch is the "Umbra" lens over the open heart.
Basically works like Transitions eyeglass lenses that get darker in response to UV light.

I've got more Converse sneakers than watches, but it is a close race.
