Hindi, also called Sanskrit and Devanagari. Yes I googled :)
NAD

Actually, Hindi, Sanskrit, and Devanagari are three distinct/different languages/scripts (though closely related) - remember how different English and Arabic are from each other, but we use the same (or very similar) numeric characters.

Please watchGods let the Yema watch sell out.......I can’t hold out much longer. For the record, way better designs than 70% of the Kickstarter watches and at half the price! Damnit.....I may have just talked myself into it.

Bertucci has some of their Zulu straps on sale again. They only have three sizes (17,22,26) and the 17mm ones are too short for most men, but if you can use a 22 there’s a pretty good selection of patterns and colors for $10.

Made a separate post about this, but sharing on the thread with all the eyeballs.

Melbourne Watch Company is raising money for the Australian Red Cross to help with efforts due to the rampant wildfires.

They are offering a selection of watches for auction on eBay, including a selection of unique prototypes/samples not normally available.

100% of all sales will be donated to the Australian Red Cross through their official fundraising page - https://fundraise.redcross.org.au/fundr ... ournewatch

In addition, Melbourne is also offering 20% off any watch in store for this month using code MICRO20, and they'll then donate 20% of the purchase price to the Red Cross through their fundraiser page.

Very tempted by the Rallygraf at $179 USD but gonna pass because:

INFO FOR FELLOW CANADIANS - Yema's online chat confirmed they will use Chronopost as the shipper due to the shipping arrangement with them for the free international shipping. Never heard of Chronopost so did some research and found out they are an express courier type service and when the package arrives in Canada, it gets passed onto a customs clearing agent called FB Express and not Canada Post. i.e. 100% guaranteed taxes and duties plus brokerage fees. Taxes & duties is not the problem as that's a fact of life but some couriers such as UPS/DHL Express/FedEx tacks on crazy brokerage, entry preparation, clearing, COD, "ransom" fees (UPS Standard being the worst one I've encountered). Went online to see if I could find a fee schedule for FB Express - nope, not published. Red flag for me right there since ransom fees unknown and the extra taxes/duties/brokerage could end up totaling to more than half of the sale price of the watch.

Great deal none the less for those countries with higher tax exempt than Canada. Ours is...please don't laugh...$20 CAD so in other words, anything coming in over $15 USD is technically taxable and eligible for duties. :(

Old news for us here but,
I'd Never thought I'd see CWard on SD front page.
The comment section is filled with a guy's vendetta against CW.

Just one of the champagne dials left (there were only 100 to being with). I could not be happier with this watch, and IMO it is under the money at this price. On the wrist today for an important meeting:

Hopefully this infects one of you with the sickness.

Reference 01 733 7653 4158-07 8 26 01PEB. CWS has it listed as 01-733-7653-4158-MB. 43mm. Sellita SW 200-1. Product page here. I've never seen a IRL pic of this one that looked great to me but that doesn't mean it's not a good deal. That's the last CWS post from me for now but not the last of the deals. There's some other good stuff over there....Ball, FC, etc. Aquis link below.

Apart from what aforementioned, for those who are interested in getting an Oris, the CWS ebay store has some models being marked down in prices. Looks like good deals.

For those that partake of the CW shipping wait game - I got a parcel dispatch email this am. Out of the half dozen or so orders from them in the past seven years, this is one of the fastest. Maybe they got a new logistics coordinator.
