So just to confirm - the only difference between a regular Cincinnatus and the MOT version will be the MOT engraving on the back of the watch?
Hour and minute hands will be different as well.
Sweet!
I have to admit, I like the visual exclusiveness (is that a word?) of a ltd watch version...if it was only the back engraving, it wouldn't seem as special...
personally i need at least dial logo modification for me to consider this a colab. Caseback engraving and hands feels like a special edition of CWC watch....for that reason I'm out (with the current configuration)
I suspect pricing will be the same since " nopw you get bracelet"
I am assuming that the engraving depth would be the same as the edge engraving. My digital design skills are limited, and I didn’t see if I could change any settings to make it look like a better match to the rest of the engraving.
I have not tried photoshopping in some cathedral hands. While the caseback mockups look pretty good (to me) I am not a digital design wizard. I could take a crack at it, but I wouldn’t expect anything amazing out of my efforts. Maybe Rick can do this or provide some sort of image showing the dial with what the white on blue might look like at some point. I have a feeling that he is far more skillful at this kind of thing than I am.
I don’t know if there is a sort of ‘watchmaker’s design toolkit’ out there where you can pick different standard layouts, add dial text, mess with fonts, preview dial textures and ultimately digitally test out a bunch of different hand sets.
That would be a really cool and helpful tool, but I am guessing that doesn’t exist. If it does exist, I am guessing that I can’t afford it.
