SUCCESSFUL : Kickstarter: Solas Watches - Starlight with microrotor movement

Solas Watches have relaunched their Kickstarter campaign.
They have lowered their funding goal. Not sure I'm seeing anything else too different from their original campaign, other than more pricing tiers.

Solas Watches out of Ireland have launched their first Kickstarter for their debut model, the Starlight featuring a microrotor movement.
This one must have been highly anticipated because the first two tiers sold through fairly quickly.

From the description regarding the brand name:
Sólás is Irish for “solace” – this name was chosen as this project began as a personal recovery from a period of illness in my family. The project allowed me to divert energies and put my focus into something that sought to bring comfort to myself and ultimately turned into an opportunity to share that energy and positivity with a wider audience of watch aficionados.
It is intentional that “solas” (without the Irish fadas) is also relevant to the brand and means “light” – you will find that the model name and future planned models all have a celestial theme to them. The first model which I am introducing below is the Sólás Starlight.
Difference from prototype to production model:
- The date window frame will be removed.
- The logo font will be amended slightly, it is still the custom font "blzee" but spacing has been changed to better reflect the intended calligraphy effect.
The watch itself is labelled all in Irish except for the English model name. For non-Irish speakers the text on the dial and caseback translates to:
- Sólás – Solace
- Deartha in Éirinn – designed in Ireland
- Criostal saifír – sapphire crystal
- Ceád eagrán – inaugural edition
Specs:
- Movement: Hangzhou 5000A: 28800bph, ≥42hrs power reserve, and non-hacking
- Case diameter: 38mm
- Height: 9.8mm
- Lug to lug length: 44mm
- Lug width: 20mm
- Dial: aventurine
- Strap: custom, hand-made Horween leather strap by Irish leather craftsman, Turas Leather
- Crystal: sapphire both sides, anti-reflective coating inside
- Water resistance: 50 metres
