Now that Fossil has jumped on the "integrated sports watch" trend, does that mean we are near the end of it?
I certainly hope so.

The Fossil Everett
Price is $149

In 1972, Gérald Genta changed the watch world by creating the iconic "integrated sports watch" design. Inspired by his innovation, our designers developed Everett with a seamless H-link bracelet and elevated it with our signature vintage style.

Too big to fail or yard sale they all hale
Run or hide just for fun deals I find

Howdy - thanks for the kind words! It’s early enough where I could do a custom forum watch if there’s interest. Happy to build a dial that’s for MoT in customer colors!

From the pictures this doesn’t look bad..not sure about the build quality in metal/person..I’d probably take a flyer if and when it’s get to <$100...

Rabirnie wrote:SeaborneBrian just posted this to the Seaborne IG page and wanted to share here. I'll update with additional info as it becomes available, but also be sure to keep an eye on the Brand Showcase section for Seaborne watches here: Seaborne Brand Showcase

Info:
"More of the Seaborne Windward Concept. Our 37mm take on dressy field watch category. 10mm thick, cool domed sapphire crystal, Miyota 90 series movement (with quartz available as well). The dial is very interesting on this one - a sandwich dial with wave texture in middle and sand on the outside. 4 colorway concepts currently. Feedback always welcome!"

Upcoming diver from Wolbrook. I previously posted a teaser shot. I wish it offered a higher WR, for a diver.

Gotta say I like the look of those Fossils a lot more than most of the integrated bracelet watches being released lately.

Wolbrook/Douglas has released the skin diver:
https://wolbrook.com/collections/skindi ... ol-watches
Screenshot 2021-03-05 075929.png
The movement is Miyota 8315

I am surprised to read this:

"With 100m / 10ATM water resistance tested and guaranteed, a screw-down crown and screw-down caseback, the Skindiver Professional tool-watch will accompany you on any of your scuba diving up to -100m if necessary. In recreational diving, you will probably stop at -30m and further than -57m the oxygen in compressed air can become toxic. So, you are covered.

ISO 6425 – the international standard that defines the specifications of Dive Watches – states that 100m water resistance is where the realm of diving watches starts."

I thought it's pretty well known that 10ATM does not mean you can scuba dive to 100m, and it's not appropriate for scuba diving. Not sure mention of ISO 6425 here means anything as this watch is not ISO rated. That said, I know people have dived with lower ATM...

New women's collection from Raketa that I can only see if I stay on the Russian site. Link disappears if I change language to English.
So unsure if these are available outside of Russia.

These are a collaboration with jewelry brand Avgvst and dedicated to the world's first female professor of mathematics, Sofya Kovalevskaya.
A nice interpretation of their classic Copernicus model.

If my Google conversion is correct, these are about $387

you can absolutely scuba dive with a 100m watch. you can safely scuba dive with a 30m watch as the vaaaast majority of scuba diving is well below that. the myth that you can't is based on people not understanding basic physics and touting BS about "dynamic pressure" because they think that by swimming you will exert an unimaginable force upon the gaskets (and no human would be able to generate even 1atm of additional pressure on a gasket doing any underwater activity short of strapping himself on a torpedo and weirdly angling his hand)

plenty of people (i wouldn't be surprised if it was a statistical majority) scuba dive with 50m timexes and even the venerable F-91W (30m)

and the ISO is not a certification agency (like COSC). they just set the standard, and it's up to the companies to meet them. the vaaaaaaaaaast majority of diving watches available on the market meet ISO standards (in this day and age, you pretty much meet them by default with any "proper" diver :D), as they're really not hard to meet. nobody bothers with hiring agencies who do that so they can advertise it because nobody really cares outside SKX fanboys
