It has a 36% discount, maybe not very high. But for 595USD it has COSC... and silicon hairspring. Silicon or silicium, a very recent material in watchmaking, promises many advantages, anti-magnetism, less friction and better behaviour in the face of temperature variations. Apart from Tissot, there are very few and exclusive manufacturers who use it; and they usually report efficiency improvements of 30%.

Rumor had it, they were very focused on the Russian and to a lesser extent Chinese markets, where watches were given as "gifts" (bribes) where MSRP was very important for prestige... From what I gather, the Russian market for ultra-high end pieces is down and these practices have been put an end to in China, or at least curtailed to a large degree.PeteB wrote: ↑Thu Feb 25, 2021 10:24 pmNADBillionaireDoors wrote: ↑Thu Feb 25, 2021 6:44 pm Relatively good deal for $27,999. It's $50,000+ on other sites. MSRP is either $150k or $225k depending on which site you believe.

The price point is obviously not for everyone, but DeWitt watches have been on an aggressive "clearance" for a while. Not sure if they are just overstocked or if something is wrong with their AD chain.
Those sold through quickly!nicegator wrote: ↑Fri Feb 26, 2021 9:35 am Oldies but goodies. I think Bambino is the best choice for affordable dress mechanical watch. And it wears great as casual too!

Arrived yesterday. Thanks for your advice.
And apparently, someone at Jomashop is reading this forum. The white/silver Heritage Navigator is on sale for $ 699 as the Daily Deal. I seem to remember that this one was higher priced than the black one in the past. If I already didn't have its twin brother, I would pull the trigger. @TheJohnP take notePeteB wrote: ↑Mon Feb 22, 2021 11:29 amNAD

Are the inner dial world time lines supposed match up with the outer numeric indices?PeteB wrote: ↑Fri Feb 26, 2021 12:48 pmAnd apparently, someone at Jomashop is reading this forum.
