A separate thread would be cool. Any watches from this thread that garner enough interest could have their own thread.....and I would think the Alpinist would. Even if the first post is just copied and pasted stuff from here. Looking forward to seeing the green and white.

I think the hour hand on the new rendering is the same as the SARB017 and the SPB089. I've only seen that crazy-looking one on vintage Alpinists like the one pictured above.

I don't know, the article didn't say. I noticed that as well and am wondering if that's a production prototype and didn't have the text, or if they're intentionally leaving it off only the black version.

Do it! I googled and couldn't find the leaks.

Wow, a modern Tissot that actually looks good. I didn't know they had it in them.
