This launched on Kickstarter recently.
(Reminder, I have no affiliation with any of the brands I post about)

Kickstarter pricing for the quartz version with leather strap will be around $335, roughly 33% off retail price.

Interesting it's offered as a bullhead and standard. Only one case size for the standard, though, which means the mecha-qz is 16mm thick.

I had been very interested in the bullhead until I read the Timebums review. That profile is just too much for me.

Quote: 'Now, if you are one of those people who (like me) always feel as if your watch is traveling to the outer part of your wrist bone, the Bullhead will exaggerate the sensation. This was most apparent when wearing the taller, heavier mechanical watch. When I wore the MechaQuartz it barely registered. Bear in mind, this was on my smallish wrist. Bigger folks will wear that mechanical bull better. '
