Some Personal News
Some Personal News
On Thursday, March 7, my wife will be undergoing surgery for cancer.
Needless to say, I will be unavailable most of the day. Her recovery time from the surgery is 3-6 weeks, and we're anticipating she'll be able to handle a lot of her day to day things on her own (except work, she'll be at home) after a few days. Of course, I plan on being her nurse and assisting with whatever she needs.
Starting Thursday and for those few days afterward, any site related issues relating to bots and spammers will be handled solely by FTE. He's been doing a great job of it, and I'm confident he'll remain to do so.
If anything more serious arises, such as the site going down, or you're locked out of your account or something else major, please feel free to send me a message through any of the contact methods in my signature. I will respond as soon as possible. That information can also be found here: Contact Info
This place has become a real community in a short period of time, and it's all thanks to you, the members. Thank you all in advance for understanding my upcoming intermittent absence.

Re: Some Personal News
Definitely no need to worry about the site. I appreciate all the effort that you put into it but now sounds like a good time to focus on other things.
Hope surgery and recovery goes well. Take care man!

Re: Some Personal News
Best wishes to your wife and you as you confront this illness. Wishing her a quick and full recovery!
Re: Some Personal News
Thank you, everyone. Your kind words are appreciated.
Her cancer is of a type that only affects women, and it has generally very favorable outcomes, so we remain quite optimistic. Naturally, it is still a pretty stressful time.
I'm looking forward to annoying her for many years to come.

Sending positive thoughts to you and WomanOnTime.
Don't worry about this place. The inmates will take good care of the asylum while you're gone.

Re: Some Personal News
My wife has been cancer free for almost seven years now. Wishing you the same blessing.
Re: Some Personal News
Best wishes on your wife's surgery, and don't worry about the website. Everyone will still be here when you get back.
Re: Some Personal News
Positive thought going to the both of you.
Re: Some Personal News
While I personally am not religious, the wife to be told me to let you know that you both are in her prayers. And you both are definitely in our thoughts. She knows how much joy this place brings me, and with all the good karma you have spread here, I am certain some has to come back your way. Don't worry about us, FTE has it under control I am sure, and if not, there are plenty of others here that wont stand for any BS while you are away.
Please keep us posted and just know we are all rooting for you both and we will be thinking of you whenever a deal is posted. If there is any way I can help out, just let me know.
