Holy Mackerel!....er.....I mean Marlin! Some people seem to think there will be another Q release later this year but I'm not sure what they are basing that on. And others have said that a few have trickled out to select retailers but have probably already been snapped up. It looks like they are selling for $350 or more on watch recon and ebay.

There will be a second batch, that's confirmed by Timex on instagram, but the hype is so big right now I'm sure they gonna sell out even quicker.

I'm curious if anyone here has experience with the Atlantis. Any thoughts about it at all? I know it is not an entirely new model but I'm not sure if it is one that has been made all along or if there was a hiatus and then it was more recently reintroduced. With the Rakuten discount it's down to a great price. I think the one I would be interested in is called the T77517 or T775179J. It looks like some say Atlantis 100 at the top and others say Expedition.
The Atlantis 100 debuted with a commercial during Super Bowl XX:
If I'm recalling correctly, it has remained a mainstay in the lineup but has had some changes over the years. Indiglo was added in 1992/3, some of the materials have changed or been altered, but functionally it is exactly the same as the original.

Thanks, great ad! That led me to 2 more videos. Didn't watch them all but the first guy reviews some other Timex too. It looks like these are now plastic instead of metal but I think I'm fine with that. I don't really need another cheap digital but at less than $30 I may buy it. The new ones still have an 80s vibe that I like. Might do some more reading and watching before I buy or maybe I'll just shoot first and ask questions later.
Found this one at my local Wally's with the Clearance Yellow sticket for just $25 bucks. I had my eye on it since it was launched at the TX web site.
I do not see it listed in the TX website any more. Perhaps the bay has it. Excellent piece even at full price.
60 click timing bezel, Ana Digi with the brains of a basics of an Ironman (timer, couundown, alarm, and ability to track up to 3 timezones independently.., two digital plus the analog which is not slaved)
