Amazon Echo Buds: $130 pre-order
Has Bose ANR and true wireless. Specs not 100% out. But good price barring any unpleasant surprises.

I read the Gear Patrol review yesterday and these seem like good bang for your buck. Only negative is having to use the Alexa app, which they mentioned was slightly cumbersome for the buds. It is the only way to activate the ANR.

It states you can double tap to cycle through passive mode and ANR. Perhaps, that's only after you turn it on through Alexa though. I personally don't use any digital assistants and the 20 somethings I'm surrounded by never do either.
Also, it uses microusb which kind of sucks. But, the only alternative I see is the Sony Wf1000m3. Which seem really good...…… unless you run in them. They fall out.
I'm too lazy to wait for the Bose 500/700s that are coming out. But those will probably be the best.

I’m with you in that I don’t use digital assistants at all. I can’t stand them, don’t trust them, or want anything to do with them.

Edit: just pretend to spec one out, copy on the coupon code and reset to base. On an ultraportable there isn't going to be a major difference between the i5 and i7 due to thermal throttling.. 4k on a 13 in screen is barely noticeable and kills battery. Oh, and the integrated privacy screen is rumored to flicker (I still paid $40 for it though).
