The Parker chronograph is named after Captain John Parker. Parker commanded the Lexington Patriot colonial militia at the Battle of Lexington on April 19, 1775.

The chrono features a three different dial color options along with two bezel color options. The watch is hand-made in the USA by Minuteman Watch Co. A portion of all sales of Minuteman watches for this year, including the Parker, will go to help Home For Our Troops build adaptive homes for severely injured post 9/11 veterans. The company hopes to raise $10K for the charity through sales of its 2019 watches.

The Minuteman Parker brushed watches are presale priced at $399, and the DLC watches are presale priced at $419.

Following the company’s presale launch, the price of brushed versions will increase to $569, and the DLC versions $599.
The watches should be ready to ship in January 2020. Unexpected delays could cause the watches to be shipped at a later date. Currently it looks like these watches might be ready to ship as early as December 2019.

- Diameter: 42mm
- Case: 316L stainless steel in either a brushed or black DLC finish
- Lume: Swiss Superluminova hands and indices
- Water resistant: 100 meters
- Movement: Seiko/Hattori VK73 Meca Quartz
- Strap: Handcrafted Italian leather “rallye” style strap
- Crystal: Double-domed sapphire with clear type A/R on the inside
- Assembled by hand in the USA by a highly-skilled American watchmaker

I think "hand made" and "hand assembled" are distinctly different things.

Nice to see they're using the VK73. The images could be a little misleading though. Having the chrono seconds in motion and the running seconds stationary will lead many who are unfamiliar with Seiko's VK movements to believe these aren't "true" chronographs.

The chrono seconds is in motion so it does not block our brand name and logo. But you do make a valid point.
