Re: Coffee Talk: a coffee thread

Most every morning, out of easy, I have a peanut butter and Nutella sandwich with my coffee. Update on my Moka pot experiences: I've only made a few pots, as 3 cups (espresso cups) is alot of caffeine for me in one sitting as I make it after I get home from work. I have removed the metal base plate...

Re: Coffee Talk: a coffee thread

Hi @BostonCharlie - hmmmm, you just made me hungry. Yes, bagels are great, love them. I have a soft spot for honey on toast. Oh, and I love bundt cake! That should go very well with coffee! How about affogato for everyone!!?!? hmmmm One of my favorite things to eat with coffee is a peanut butter an...

Re: Coffee Talk: a coffee thread

I bought a Jura A1, which arrived about a week ago. It's my first expresso machine. I like it! It's kinda basic but that's okay. It's fully automatic and I can get my coffee quickly. Now I just have to drink lots of coffee to make it worthwhile (I did enjoy an affogato today!). I will get a French p...

Re: 2022 New and Upcoming Releases!

This upcoming release from Oak and Oscar, new Humboldt GMT is expected to ship in 5-10 weeks, and has a launch price of $1,985 on a bracelet, and $1,825 on a strap. An article caught my attention on wornandwound: https://wornandwound.com/oak-oscar-updates-the-humboldt-with-a-gmt-movement-and-24-hou...

Re: Coffee Talk: a coffee thread

Given that cleaning a milk frother can be a bit of a chore, would you recommend buying it as a separate thing (seems to be cheaper that way) vs getting an expresso machine with a frother function? Thanks. Milk frother can do both hot and cold. An espresso machine will have a steam wand, and it take...

Re: Coffee Talk: a coffee thread

I have the Breville Barista Express too. We got it for our wedding and have had 10 years. It still works great and have never had any issues. Thanks, Stretch44 . Been crazy busy but I should have some time today to do more research. Miggyd87 - how is the Fellow Stagg EKG kettle working out for you?...

New Oris with the inhouse movement, this time in a smaller case. A LE collab with Chronos. 38mm. Looks like the case is made for the movement in terms of size. https://www.oris.ch/en/watch/chronos-limited-edition/01-400-7774-4015-set A writeup: https://www.watchtime.com/wristwatch-industry-news/ice-...
