Re: Complaint of the Day
When I come on the site lately, it has a grey overlay and I have to scroll to the bottom of the page to select chrome and not Tapatalk. Ugh, I hate Tapatalk. I deleted you, why do you keep coming back? It's obvious I don't want you anymore

Re: Complaint of the Day
It's an annoyance that Tapatalk won't let me disable unless I pay them.

Re: Complaint of the Day
This is a complete pedantic grammar complaint.
I don't get the phrase "Trunk or Treat"
I know it's a play on Trick or Treat.
I know it's a vehicle based candy distribution system.
What irks me is the use of "or".
It's Trunk & Treat. There's no "or" involved.
You get a trunk OR you get treats?!?
[/rant]

My complaint is that almost three years later I still have no idea what @TheJohnP 's signature ditty is from. It may be because I have never asked him.

Bought a part for a movement, installed it successfully, and then lost another part that shot off the tweezers. Nowhere to be found.

Man, I’m sorry to tell you, but since we didn’t live your pain, that’s funny as hell. lolwatchpalooza wrote:Bought a part for a movement, installed it successfully, and then lost another part that shot off the tweezers. Nowhere to be found. [emoji2959][emoji2959][emoji2959]

Re: Complaint of the Day
Made an offer on a watch on eBay. Seller then raises the price about $80 and counter offers with a price that's even higher then it was listed for when I made the offer. Lol
Checked their feedback and quite a few complaints of them selling an item and then canceling the order claiming unavailable only to soon after relist for more money.

Maybe you should call them out by name here so that we know who to watch out for.

Re: Complaint of the Day
Not watchmaxx however they do love to have a "best offer" option and always come back with offers that are only a few dollars under the posted price. I've never seen them raise the price immediately after an offer though.TheJohnP wrote:The Sultan of SoWhat wrote: ↑Thu Jan 27, 2022 5:43 pm-------mplsabdullah wrote: ↑Thu Jan 27, 2022 5:28 pm Made an offer on a watch on eBay. Re: Complaint of the Day
Damn, I hate FedEx.
I was supposed to receive a watch today. FedEx claims that it was delivered and signed for. Needless to say, it was not delivered and not signed for.
Several weeks ago, I had 2 packages due to be delivered on the same day by FedEx. Although both had my correct name, address, and apt. number, the dumb driver delivered one package to the unit entrance next door and the other to a unit entrance 4 doors away. Luckily, my search-and-destroy mission located both packages before harm could befall them. My search mission today had no such luck.
Who the hell knows where it is?
I've opened a case file with FedEx. Let's see how that goes.

I'm guessing (and hoping) it shows up tomorrow.
Driver submitted "delivered" to keep their numbers up.
