I have a brass Liliput that I EDC. That fireblue looks awesome!
As you may have noticed, we we're offline this morning. This was caused by the "Thanks" plug-in going rogue and using up way too many server resources. This triggered an automatic suspension by our hosting provider as they thought it was a malicious attack. The "Thanks" plug-in has been disabled, hopefully temporarily so I can determine if that was indeed the cause, and take steps to prevent it from happening in the future.
I apologize for the disruption and for any confusion that may have caused.

They’re such great little pens. The finish on the Fireblue is really fun, and it feels great in the hand.

I came across this pen review site: https://www.penaddict.com/top-5-pens/
There are watch geeks, and there are pen geeks. Love them all!!!

Thanks for reminding me about this site…now I’m gonna waste many more hours on it. [emoji3]pdsf wrote:I came across this pen review site: https://www.penaddict.com/top-5-pens/

I put a quick ranking myself in the handwritten posts thread.

I know nothing of fountain pens, but love signing documents with my inexpensive Lamy. Is that Kickstarter a good deal? I'd like to get something a little nicer and not plastic.

I wouldn't rule out all plastic pens though. Sailor make beautiful models, check out the 1911s for example. And their nibs are awesome if you prefer more feedback from the paper. I have a 1911 pro color stardust with just a steel nib and it's one of my nicest looking pens.
I'm sure you've also seen pilot vanishing points as well. Those aren't plastic and are great for carrying around, maybe not as nice looking as a sailor but they have equally as nice gold nibs.

This is probably like someone suggesting a no-name fashion watch, but it is a no-name fashion watch with a 316L case and a myiota quartz movement. A forced metaphor, but I have this and I really like it:

I like the look of both of the latest pens posted. [emoji7]
I may have bought another pen today [emoji51]

New pen arrived yesterday…it’s a chonky boi. The narwhal on the nib and portholes to see the ink reservoir are nice touches…

My Lamy Safari has become a bit scratchy, which is odd. Makes me want to get a new fountain pen now. Anyone has experience with the Platinum 3776?
@cheddar - what's the chonky boi?

It’s the Narwhal Nautilus Fountain Pen in Mylandia Blue. Very substantial and very satisfying to write with.
