Re: Random Thoughts
Why don't those, who never play by the rules, ever get punished?

If Finland ever wanted to invade Russia, now seems like a good time. Sweden could take Kaliningrad. An axis of neutrals.

And what should Switzerland do?

If you are a lazy casual web server admin like me, now is a good time to stay on top of software updates. Actually, any kind of software updates. I keep a router behind my ISP's router, and I replaced it a year ago because the mfg. stopped supporting it with updates.

Re: Random Thoughts
When will I stop being shocked at skyrocketing real estate prices? I know that the r/e market does crash once in awhile. It's just hard to imagine that when you're in the middle of such a surge.

Long, horrible story that you don’t want to hear, but my daily commute is 3:15 this week, I get home finally at 8:30 tonight having to use Staples to scan in a job application like it’s 1975, and my wife babysat our niece today and told me she had to clean up vomit because the kid smelled her pooh.
What the heck is going on in this world?
That’s my random thought for the day. See ya tomorrow night.

Haha, sounds pretty bad, huh? I just watched 10 minutes of the news and I’ll take this any day over what so many people seem to be living here and abroad. Now off to Chattanooga for the day. I enjoy listening to Bob and Tom on the way down. Very funny people.TheJohnP wrote:Yikes. Hopefully the week improves for you Robotaz
Have a good one!

This is what I’ll be inspecting for awhile. It’s just a job that I would normally be designing and project managing, but the company needs an inspector and there are zero jobs where we live. It’s all retired people and golf courses, so you take what you can get if you can’t find something remote. Hopefully I’ll be expanding my company’s engineering services into natural gas because there’s so little engineering help here in east TN that I was actually hired 6 years ago to come down to Knoxville from Lexington, KY and design University of Tennessee’s power plant transition from coal to natural gas. The problem is that these small civil firms cannot grasp the money it takes to pay gas professionals relative to highway and water engineers.
