Purchase Direct has an ebay store and a website and often has good deals on interesting brands, particulary (lately) Junghans, Glycine and many others in the past.
Their listings do not mention warranty at all, and there is one statement on their 'Authenticity Page' that states that all new watches come with a manucturer warranty. When I inquired directly, however, I was told that 2 of the brands I asked about, that they carried the warranty themselve (Glycine and Junghans)
However I soon got an email from Megan at PurchaseDirect saying that was a mistake and that actually Junghans do come with a mfr warranty, and that the only brand that they carry the warranty on is GLYCINE.
SO TO SUM UP, GLYCINE WATCHES FROM PURCHASEDIRECT.COM AND THEIR EBAY STORE, COME WITH AN IN HOUSE WARRANTY, AND ALL OTHER NEW WATCHES COME WITH THE MANUFACTURER WARRANTY.
If this changes again or I get any other information I will post it here.
In the meantime, Megan did say she would ask their website development team to update their site to more clearly relay this information to buyers.
As you may have noticed, we we're offline this morning. This was caused by the "Thanks" plug-in going rogue and using up way too many server resources. This triggered an automatic suspension by our hosting provider as they thought it was a malicious attack. The "Thanks" plug-in has been disabled, hopefully temporarily so I can determine if that was indeed the cause, and take steps to prevent it from happening in the future.
