As you may have noticed, we we're offline this morning. This was caused by the "Thanks" plug-in going rogue and using up way too many server resources. This triggered an automatic suspension by our hosting provider as they thought it was a malicious attack. The "Thanks" plug-in has been disabled, hopefully temporarily so I can determine if that was indeed the cause, and take steps to prevent it from happening in the future.

I apologize for the disruption and for any confusion that may have caused.

Watchshop.com a bit cheeky

Post by WPybus »

Thought I’d just share this for the UK market(

Went to buy a Ball watch from Watchshop.com, had £300 off them a voucher for another 25% off!
Went through finance, 0% over 10 months, but my address on my bank statement was written slightly differently to what I had given. The credit application was rejected, fair enough that was my error.

So I went back on to buy the watch, after correcting address issues, and the price of the watch had gone up by £350….

I thought that seems a bit cheeky as they knew my credit application had been rejected and I would be probably trying to buy the watch again! They were hoping I wouldn’t notice?!

Logged on to the website today and the price had gone down by £350!!

I now will not be buying it!!
