Got a fake MoonSwatch!

Post by kinglee »

I should have known better. Not sure if I got an email or it was a Facebook advertisement. I jumped on the chance to finally get one of the Swatch/Omega watches. It arrived Friday after a little over 3 weeks and it is FAKE FAKE FAKE! Yep it cost me $178 and luckily I put it on my AMEX card and a dispute has been filed.

Nice packaging. Main way I could tell it was fake is the complications do not match with the original.

The complication in the yellow circle is supposed to 1/10th of a second indicator, on this fake watch it is a 24 hr dial indicator, it moves when you pull the crown all the way out and set the time!

I found a few videos on Youtube also pointing out there are fakes out there!

Be aware!

It came from a website called "https://www.stealwatch.com/". It no longer appears to function.
