Great deal on Vasque hiking shoes $29.95 (reg $149.99)
These are very comfortable, and can be worn as normal sneakers (for a non-hiker look).

Good time to stock up on car cleaning products. I like the new TurtleWax ceramic and graphene waxes, cleaners and polishes. A good coat of their ceramic wax will last 4 to 6 months. Also won a head 2 head test versus Mother’s, Meguiar’s, Adams, Ethos and more.
$8.20 CERAMIC SPRAY WAX (when you buy the 2 pack)
All-in-one ceramic car wax and polish delivers the benefits of two ultra-premium products in a simple, one-step process for maximum efficiency
Precision platelet technology smooths light scratches, swirls and paint transfer to return your car to like-new condition
Formulated with hydrophobic, SiO2 polymers for intense water-beading action, chemical-resistance and a deep, cloud-reflecting shine
Compare to WalMart at $14.97
COUPON CODE SAVE15 = 15% OFF
CODE SAVE20 = 20% OFF w/$100 purchase
7.35% rebate through TOPCASH
Don't forget to pay with DC in your digital wallet for another 5% cash back
Buy direct, no tax (for me at least in SC) free shipping with $20 purchase

I travel a bit for work. I mostly use a Timberland carry-on or a crappy old backpack for a 1-2 day-er. I’ve been looking for a nice leather duffle for 2 months. Requirement/Specs were:
23-24”
Real leather or cow hide
Lots of pockets
Fully lined
Good zippers
Plenty available on eBay and Amazon for around $100. Another grouping around $200. Finally lots in the $300+ category and I really didn’t want to be there. I bought 3 off Amazon for ~$100. Ended up returning all 3. Leather was thin, stitching was crap, zippers were definitely not quality and 2 were off-gassing so badly I thought I was walking through Lumber Liquidator’s.
So I moved to the next tier - $200. While reading the reviews I got served up an ad from Polare. Never heard of them, but honestly I’ve never shopped for a decent leather bag before. They actually have a store on Amazon with great customer 5 star reviews. A quick search of google and it turns out they have a web-store. Best part is $0 shipping and $0 tax if you buy direct……..DONE. Amazon sells this one for $210 + tax, direct is $199 all-in.
One concern was that the Amazon shipping showed 3 days and the direct site stated 3-7 biz days. Well I ordered Jan 29 and it was delivered today Feb 1 - so still 3 days. Couldn’t be happier.
- US sourced leather is super thick and supple and this bag feels like it will last a lifetime
- YKK Zippers (if you know you know) are oversized with leather pulls and just feel quality
- Bag is fully lined
- Pockets are plentiful
- Stitching every where is uniform with thick thread
- Thick and sturdy but weighs under 5 pounds, important when you’re running through an airport
- Twin handles and shoulder straps(2). 1 + replacement
- Bottom sliders to protect the bag

That bag looks great. I'm sure you'll be happy with it.

I got rid of my gas mower 2+ years ago. Just didn’t make sense anymore. I switched to the Greenworks self-propelled 21” 60v dual battery mower. I have about an acre and this does the job just fine. If I had it to do over again I’d have opted for the 25” dual blade mower. On sale @ $525 after 30% OFF coupon.
5 years of GAS mowing @ 40 mows a year = $600 gas, $25 oil, $10 spark plugs, 2 x $4 air filters = $643 over 5 years
5 years of ELECTRIC mowing @ 40 mows a year = $.13 kWh, 60v 4.0a X 2 batteries = $.06 per charge or $12 over 5 years

Deal for UCLA students and alumni: 2023 M2 Mac Mini, $499. Presently $599 most places -- Amazon has them for $557 but they gave me a mid-April shipping date. I tried stepping through the UCLA checkout and it kicked me out after I added my address, lol -- I'm not an alumnus.

Car wash season is coming. 20% OFF (SAVE20 or SPRING20) TurtleWax + 7.35% rebate. Buying direct, especially on Graphene or Ceramic product lines are cheaper than all the car part stores, WalMart and Amazon. And yes I’m a TurtleWax fanboy.

I bought one of these $18 "green" Allen Sports trunk mount bike racks for my Flex. It arrived today and looks every bit as good as its $34 "black" cousin with its $60 MSRP (judging by the photos). Highly rated, but comments are worth reading. Top/side clips don't work on glass or plastic, for example, and people recommend wrapping them to prevent scratching the car's paint.
With a little finessing I got the top clips to engage the top of my Flex's hatch, so it looks like it will work. Will make a test run to make sure.

Lowes has $2 mulch. Just bought 150 bags. 5% off using Lowes CC and 3% from retail me not so net $1.84 a bag. And yes I’ve done bulk in the past. NEVER AGAIN. Shoveling bulk mulch is the worst.
