As you may have noticed, we we're offline this morning. This was caused by the "Thanks" plug-in going rogue and using up way too many server resources. This triggered an automatic suspension by our hosting provider as they thought it was a malicious attack. The "Thanks" plug-in has been disabled, hopefully temporarily so I can determine if that was indeed the cause, and take steps to prevent it from happening in the future.

I apologize for the disruption and for any confusion that may have caused.

Casio GBD 200 strap connector.

Casio GBD 200 strap connector.

Post by NapoleonDynamite »

Team, I'm after one of those strap connectors that allows you to add standard straps to a Casio G Shock. Specifically the newish Casio GBD 200.

Any ideas?

Pic for attention! (not mine)

Thanks in advance!

Vario sells them, and is currently running a sale. The GBD 200 isn't listed for compatibility, but it may just be too new. They say it works with any 16mm lug width G, and welcome questions about compatibility with models not listed. Worth a shot.

@Sporkboy has 3D printed adapters in the past. I've had a couple of pairs of them, and they were quite good.

I wonder if he could be enticed to make a few more.

They informed me they have no information on that model at the moment. It was worth a try. Thanks.

I'd also be interested in those adapters if someone finds/makes them.

I know this post started last year (2021). Hopefully someone knows of any strap connectors for the gbd200. Unable to locate any. Maybe I didn't do a thorough search and somebody knows.

I still occasionally look on AliExpress. Nothing specific has jumped out yet...

Took a bit, but managed to make some adapters out of the generic resin ones they sell all over the place. I would rather have metal versions. But, these will work till then
