Another electric Timex, but this one with the "dead beat" movement:

I wish that watch were 38mm?

I was just reading that one. Calling it a "dead beat" isn't exactly correct as it wasn't an added complication, but the nature of the early Laco/Timex electric movements. They were incredibly accurate for the day with similar accuracy to Bulova's Accutron which is way more complicated.

I thought I remember you (or someone) posted a little about these before, but I couldn't find it. I think it's neat.

They are and these M67 ones are good quality. 11 jewels, polished screw heads, etc.

Honestly I don't know much about the brand so can't say if it's a good deal, but oh my, the dial is funky!

Caravelle was/is a sub-brand of Bulova. Originally introduced in the 60s to compete with Timex as Timex was eating everyone's lunch at the time.

That one is super funky. Too bad the case is a little worn. The movement is probably an AS 1905 or similar, so decent.

$150 may be a bit ambitious, but I'm not sure. I've been away from vintages for a while.

Early presage model SARY055, 4r36, sapphire crystal, 50mm lug to lug so bigger than the SARB035. Seller seems to be willing to negotiate on the $275 asking

Pre-Owned LE Glycine GL0163 for $449.10 with code 10OFF at Topper. Excellent condition. I'd be on this myself if it was the 36mm model (this one is 40mm).

I have no affiliation, but this looks to be an amazing price for this Maison Celadon Yue Fei from reddit.

$400 for a watch that lists around $1,100
