ToM has HAWAIIAN LIFEGUARD ASSOCIATION DIVE WATCH for 99$ very good price I think. The yellow one looks lovely and the build quality is very good for 100 bucks.

None of the VHP line have any smartwatch capabilities. The phone is used to set the time via light pulses from the phone's LED flashlight, the GMT version you posted is the only one in the line that has that feaure.Boourns wrote: ↑Sat Jun 19, 2021 11:42 am Not super familiar with this one, but googling leads me to believe $699.99 is a good deal at ToM for this Longines Conquest VHP GMT quartz (L37284969). MSRP $1,350. I love the look of this watch.
https://www.touchofmodern.com/sales/lon ... -l37284969
EDIT: This appears to be a kind of smart watch? It sounds cool. From Watchbase:
The VHP line is sold as a high-accuracy quartz watch, accurate to within +/- 5 sec per year due to it's temperature compensation. But I'd take claim that with a grain of salt, more than one owner on the WUS high-acccuracy quartz forum has gotten close but not the claimed accuracy. Same can be said about the HAQ movement in sister brand Certina with the Precidrives ( they claim 10 sec/yr). I have two Certinas with Precidrives, both from ADs, neither of them meet their claimed spec (they're more like +20 sec./yr).
There have also been a few posters on that same forum with problems with theit VHPs. I'd be wary of buying that watch without the Longines warranty.

40mm Vic, sapphire crystal, $100 from MyGiftStop. They have a $20 off two watches promo, too, which includes many cool Vics, like the one below.

The deal seems decent, but mostly posting this Baume because it looks so dang good. $1,499.99 from $3,450. Condition is "store display."

I wish that watch were 38mm?

Does anyone know whether the straps on “ladies” watches like that 34mm Victorinox are typically shorter than a standards “men’s” strap. Asking for me.BostonCharlie wrote:40mm Vic, sapphire crystal, $100 from MyGiftStop. They have a $20 off two watches promo, too, which includes many cool Vics, like the one below.

36mm Japanese quartz, $50 Invicta deal of the day:
https://invictastores.com/invicta-speci ... odel-29395
39.5mm Swiss movement GMT, $70 incl. free shipping. The image on this listing is messed up somehow. There is a rendering on Invicta's product page here which resembles Jomashop's photo below. "Certified" compliant, lol. Jomashop says it's 42mm, but based on the 20mm lug width, I reckon it to be about 40mm (excluding the crown) based on the photo's proportions.

Comparing the two Jomashop listings above, the men's watch says the band length is 8.5" while the ladies' watch says 7.5". Re: Heads Up! I Saw A Bargain Here! 2021
Just got a bunch of ebay offers on stuff I had watches on from officialwatchdeals, including $115 on this Citizen Brycen chrono:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/265166063978
(To be honest when I put the watch on this one, I thought it was the Promaster Diver Chrono. So it's not as good a deal as I thought. But still reasonable).
And then several Alpina Seastrong quartz watches for $139 that have buy it now prices of $185 (example):

I just noticed that Alpina is the "smart" version.

I like those Alpina Seastrongs--but, alas, they're the smartwatches collection.
Re: Heads Up! I Saw A Bargain Here! 2021
I realize that after I initially posted. Anything overly wrong with that? It's a quartz. I'd see it like some of my G-Shocks with bluetooth. Something you could use or not. In the end, it's still a quartz watch. The Sultan of SoWhat wrote: ↑Tue Jun 22, 2021 4:31 pm I like those Alpina Seastrongs--but, alas, they're the smartwatches collection.
Honestly don't know anything about those, but they do look nice.
