Too big to fail or yard sale they all hale
Run or hide just for fun deals I find

The Certina is one of my absolute best buy watches. I wore mine on the MoT meetup on Friday, and I love wearing this watch any day. What type of deal are you looking for? Happy to help make it happen. The Sultan of SoWhat wrote: ↑Sun May 23, 2021 12:23 pm I'm waiting for the right price on the following:

This is the closest thing on the market to my perfect watch. Titanium, multi-colored tritium with numerals. Don’t love the black coating and it would immediately go on a NATO, but I would really like to have one. I sincerely doubt I will ever part with the required cash for one.

Alls I knows is, I'm saving whatever cash back I get from TCB and one of my credit cards and will someday use that on a grail. Possibly a grand Seiko, whatever model I like the most at that time.

I'm still very much in the decision phase, but I'm trying to save up for something nice. I've managed to go over 3 months now without a watch purchase but I'm slowly losing my mind. Though I've gotten much better at avoiding deals just because it's a good price and not because I actually want it. I am still very happy with my current collection but here are the ones on my list:

Maybe an upcoming milestone celebration. Haven't decided if I'm comfortable spending this much, but I have at least a year and a half to talk myself into or out of it. In the meantime, I'm sticking to a limited budget for all watch-related purchases.

I'm saving for retirement too. Trying to keep up 15% of pretax income. Which would buy some amazing watches, lol.
I still really want one of these blue bezel Certin DS PH200M. They're rare as hen's teeth in the US used market, and I foolishly lowballed and missedo ne a number of months ago.

Re: What are you saving your pennies for?
I really want a triple date with moon phase, but just don't know which one. Vintage or modern? I'd really like to get the Junghans, but the space between the month and day bugs me. Wish I could see it in person.
